the 30d is a great camera but i've had alot of problems with it. i take pictures of planes but every time i upload my pictures to airliners.net they have too much noise or grain (like its over sharpened). i always keep the ISO at 100 but it still looks too grainy. i tried lowering the sharpness and it still has too much noise. i like to shoot at AV but my pictures look too bright. i want to take professional pictures like the ones on airliners.net so if your a plane spotter and you have a 30d like me please help!! thanx

Whats the easiest way to ollie on a skateboard?

Ok first things first the basics front foot just behind the front truck bolts back foot on the tail. Stamp on the tail to get the pop and slide your front foot up the board to level it out for the landing. Bend your knees to absorb the impact of the landing and help you regain your balance. That is the basics of an ollie but putting it into practice is a bit tricky lol. Some things that helped me when i was learning (a long time ago lol). Firstly is poping the board, a lot of people just stamp the board and expect to get in the air but just lift the front trucks or the board goes flying away. Some things that help in this situation are wieght distrabution and timing issues. Your wieght should be on your front foot, left if you are regular footed right if you are goofy (like me) now jump and stamp down on the tail with your back foot. Slide your front up the deck foot to level out the board lift your knees to get more air. Try and land with your wieght evenly ditributed on both feet with your feet over the truck bolts to avoid snapping the board. Another wight distabution issue is leaning forward when you crouch down just befor you ollie, this can result in you landing off the board with the board behind you try and keep your body wieght centered over the board when you crouch and jump (this can be a bit tricky because you watch your feet when you are learning but you will get it i promise). The last tip i can give is try doing it stationary on gr or carpet at fist (some people dont suggest this but it helped me). The softer surface will help keep the board steady and help you worry less about bailing while you build your confidence at first. When you get the feel of it move on to rolling and ollieing adding speed and hight as you go. It takes A LOT of practice and you will mess up and bail a lot but eventually it will click and you will be doing ollies like the pro's. I hope this helps (sorry about the long answer but i tried to get in as much detail as i could lol). Any queries let me know.

Yes, I've added conditioner, and I let the water go to room temperature. My molly and one of my female guppy are moving their gills really fast. The neon tetra, swordtail, and the other female guppies are fine. The only thing that has changed is the addtion of a new plant called the Baby Tears. Well you have a really great team, but its obviously too stacked. Depending on how your league is set up you really don't need any more then 4 rb's and it looks like you really don't need any more than 4 receivers since somehow you managed to get 3 of the top 6. Maybe after wk 3 or 4 you can put together a trade of 2 or 3 of your receivers and running backs and get whatever the best defense in league is the you'd be set.

House finch nest in fern, swaying in the wind...?

We have a house finch nest in a large hanging fern. Today we had some really big wind along with thunderstorms, and the plant was really swaying very dangerously in the wind (60 mph gusts). I went out at one point to hold it steady from below (it's above my head). Roof flashing blew off the neighbors' house - the fern would have blown off too if I hadn't held it. The storm ended and Mama Finch came back and sat on her nest as before. Later, my husband and I decided to very quickly and discreetly loop a piece of string from the pot to the porch rail below, so that it will not swing up so high in the wind as to dump the babies out. The string is on the opposite side of the plant from the nest, so it is not interfering with the nest. He also tightened the hook. We completed this whole operation in less than 60 seconds and quickly went inside. Mama hasn't been back for over an hour. We are heartsick, afraid we scared her away, or that she is lost - it's dark out now-can they see at nite?

I have been in a major depression for approx 18 months. I need help building a pendulum or another kind of time-keeping device?

Alright so for a school project, I need to build a time-keeping device acurate to .1 of a second. I was just planning on building a pendulum and using my eyes to count/guesstimate the time elapsed based on the number of swings. Does anyone have any better ideas? If not, can someone guide me through the process of building a pendulum? I was just planning on getting some scrap wood and building a hangman style contraption to which I would attach some string with a weight at the bottom of it and using trial and error to get it to swing and have the duration of the swing last a second by using a stopwatch to time it...any better suggestions?

so im a junior, went to sadies w/ a guy friend whos a sopre. it was a little akward cuz we dont see eachother all the time but he made it fun and was really friendly. however when we got to the dance,(high school=grinding) it was a different story. i've only grinded w/ another guy, last year who was a senior so i guess you could say he had more experience. but the guy i went with this year seemed like he had no clue what he was doing. his hands were too high, above my hips, he was far apart, and he didn't have a strong grip. that kinda sounds weird but w/e. i cant help but compare it to last year. it was not fun at all cuz he there was so much space between us and it was akward! so what could i do next time to help a guy fix his dancing without saying it directly.

So my son has run fever for 10 days now. It varies from 99 to 104.5 . We were admitted on Tuesday and they have done all sorts of tests and can't figure out what is going on. Will Biking Help My Gut?

I am 27 years old, 5'6" and weigh about 165lbs. I have a gut that I MUST get rid of. I used to be in good shape back in H.S. and College due to athletics, however, due to my own laziness/work, I have since abandoned all forms of athletics pretty much, and now am left with this nasty gut. I just recently started biking about 20-30 minutes a day at a resistance level of 6, riding for about 4-6 miles give or take. Will this help me lose the gut, or am I only building leg muscles? Does lifting (curling, benching, etc.) help at all in the fat burning process?Thanks in advance!

Financial issues..any one got advice?

Long story.. lost my job a year or so ago. Trying to repay the debt of a charge off credit card to a company called Collect Corp a few months ago set up a payment plan to pay off this account. Since then I lost my other job and contacted these folks to see if I could reduce the amount of payment until I got another job in which I was interviewing with. The man said certainly. He put me through to another person in the company to verify what I had asked and to give them my info again. I was told I could pay the minimum amount for the month of January (which was suppose to have been automatically withdrawn from my account on the last business day of the month. While I am in another state for an interview, this company withdrawals the funds 2 weeks before it was even due.. the entire amount which left me with a negative amount in my checking account. Unaware of this at the time, I plan for my trip home and try to pay for my airfare with my debit card and guess what..insufficientt funds. So I am stuck. I call the company the next day and was promised the funds would be put back in. I called back the following day... only to find out they will have to mail me a check 7-10 business days. What a crock. Here I am stuck in another state. I called my bank and I cannot over the phone stop payment on this due to the fact they need my signature. Any suggestions? Not only that.. the negative amount is costing me $35 dollars for each transaction I have overdrawn. What can I possibly do. I am freaking out.

Just enlisted in the Navy after college (i'm in DEP), I want to be a SEAL, I want PRK....What are my options?

My ship out date is February 14th, 2012. I let my recruiters know I wanted to be a SEAL from day 1. I also let them know that I have contacts/gles. I went up to MEPS, busted out a 86 on the ASVAB, good C-SORT, and I picked a job. I took the SEAL PST last wednesday, the 20th and got really close to the "COMPETITIVE" scores on everything except the run, I went 8:31. My only question is.....what are my options. I want PRK regardless. I don't want to be disqualified obviously, I want to do this by the books. I was told there is a 6 month wait till I can get a SPECWAR contract after I get PRK. I am really confused with alot of information around different blogs. Should I wait? Oh and one big piece of info....today I had a screening at a very reputable Opthamology clinic, the Doc said my eyes are perfect for PRK and he can make my eyes 20/15 (better than 20/20). My recruiters on the other hand say not to get the surgery, but to just give them the full report from the doctors visit, which they will send to I have no idea who. I trust my recruiters very much, but I know they have a quota, I just want some insight. I want this bad, i'm getting into the best shape of my life, even better than my NCAA track career. It makes sense that with the evolution of the keyboard, a lot of players would arrive to play easy instruments without much talent. What I don't get is why there was a demand at all for a lot of 80's music. The 90's saw a revival of instrumentation and a move away from keyboards and synths, but not a lot of good players emerged. In the 70's, you had plenty of prog rock bands with fantastic piano and keyboard players. There's not many around now. Yes, it is a bit sad.

my cat is one, and he seems to have little interest in food. Did I have Swine Flu and if so, am I over it?

I'm not really sure. For two days, I had a high fever, dry sore throat, stuffy and runny nose, plugged up ears, headaches, wasn't hungry, and either chills or being hot. 2002 F350 battery help?

Yesterday I drove it to work.. no problem.. lunch was at 7:30PM .. still no problems. I left at 10 PM and the batteries were completely dead. I jumped the truck and it made it home with no problems. I then used a battery tester and both batteries read 13.2 (normal) This morning the penger battery was completely dead, but the drivers had only fell to 12.4. I had the battery tested and it was good. I also had the alternator tested and it was good. Both batteries and the alternator are less than a year old. Any Suggestions?

I used to be AF aircraft maintenance. It is a great job if you enjoy working with your hands, and not being in an office.
