How to breed small shrimps like malaya shrimps in a fish tank?

i have an extra 2.5 gal tank which maybe i want to use it to breed malaya shrimps but i dont want an extra tank running... and so do you think the shrimplets of the malaya shrimps will survive? i mean there is 1 black neon tetra and a cardinal tetra and a guppy in the tank... its a 9gal. i will be getting a 25gal next month. i was wondering if malaya shrimps can be bred without any things to do i mean just fake plants inside and let the shrimplets thrive in the ornaments and plants will that do? do you think my fishes will eat the shrimplets? malaya shrimps give birth to larvae and after a few days they become small shrimps... i will be having 9 in my tank... do you think they will breed and do you think it will be successful? my tank is lightly planted with fake plants.
