How will antibiotics affect the pill?

Hello. Antibiotics make the pill less effective, so you should always use a back-up birth control method while taking them, and for at least 2 weeks after you're done taking them. I use to wait a month, because i was so scared of getting pregnant ( even though i knew it doesn't take a whole month for them to get out of your system ). You should always read the inserts that come with a prescription, because any drug interactions, and other important information, will be listed on there. Most people never read those, and they should. They give you those for a reason. Take care :-)
