My friend died in a Car Crash. Do you think he suffered major pain? :(?

on wednesday, a friend of mine died in a car crash, and his body looked completely... just horrible. his legs were slit opened and his arm bones broke so bad his arms were literally hanging off.. it was just horrible. i don't know exactly how they crashed but he was still alive when he got to the hospital. do you think he felt any pain? it's really depressing me :( R.I.P Ariel :'(
